Client guide

You do not have to know how to tell the story perfectly.

The evaluator will guide you with clear questions, patience, and respect. Your role is simply to be honest and share what you can.

Before

Consultation & intake

We confirm that the requested evaluation is within the practice’s scope, review scheduling, and provide forms and secure record instructions. Call the practice for current pricing. You may be asked about your preferred language and whether interpretation is needed.

During

Clinical interview

The evaluation typically takes 2–3 private telehealth visits while you are physically located in Florida. Questions may cover personal history, relationships, migration, difficult experiences, symptoms, health, work, family life, strengths, and support. Breaks are welcome.

After

Clinical report

The evaluator reviews the information, any appropriate measures, and relevant records, then prepares an independent report. With authorization, the completed report is securely coordinated with the referring attorney. The typical report turnaround is 10–15 business days after the final interview and receipt of all required documents. Expedited turnaround may be available for an additional fee and must be confirmed with the practice.

Please remember

Emotional reactions are understandable.

Talking about trauma can bring up sadness, fear, anger, numbness, or physical tension. You may ask to pause, take a breath, get water, or clarify a question at any point.

A simple grounding practice

Place both feet on the floor. Notice the chair supporting you. Slowly name five things you can see, four you can feel, and three you can hear.

This is general educational information, not crisis care. If you are in immediate danger, call 911. In the U.S., call or text 988 for crisis support.
